This page explains how to delete your data from Daily Kharcha. The app is fully offline — everything you enter is stored only on your own device, and we operate no server that holds your personal data.
How to delete your data
Either method below removes everything, immediately:
1 Delete inside the app RECOMMENDED
- Open Daily Kharcha
- Go to the More tab, then open Settings
- Tap “Clear all data” and confirm
This permanently and immediately removes all of your data from your device.
2 Uninstall the app
Uninstalling Daily Kharcha causes Android to delete the app’s database along with it. This cannot be undone, and we cannot recover it for you — if you want to keep your records, create a backup first.
You are welcome to write to us and we will guide you through it: kashiframzan2002@gmail.com
What gets deleted
Either method above permanently deletes all data the app has stored on your device, including:
- Expenses, income and transaction history
- Budgets and savings goals
- Lending records (udhaar) and installment plans (qist)
- Committee / BC records, including members and payment history
- Recurring transactions and custom categories
- App settings and preferences, including your App Lock PIN
Backup or PDF files you previously exported and shared are stored wherever you chose to put them, so those must be deleted by you separately.
What we keep
Nothing. Daily Kharcha has no user accounts and no servers, so your financial records never leave your device or reach us. There is no retention period on our side because there is nothing to retain.
The app does show advertisements through Google AdMob, which may collect an advertising identifier and device information under Google’s Privacy Policy. You can reset or limit that at any time in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads). Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
